Even though Punxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter, the spring season will be here before we know it, and what better way to prepare your home than with this fun DIY wreath!
This cute and easy wreath fits any decor style and you can make it with just a few supplies.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Wooden embroidery hoop
- Floral tape
- Floral wire
- Assorted foliage
- Wire cutters or heavy duty scissors
- Hot glue (optional)
Step one:
Start by cutting a manageable section of your base greenery and attach it to your embroidery hoop with a piece of floral wire. You can also use a hot glue gun to make it more secure – just be careful to do thin lines of glue!
Step two:
Once you have your base greenery attach your contrasting greenery so that the leaves hide the floral wire. Keep filling your hoop with your greenery until it’s as full as you’d like.
Step three:
Now it’s time to add some color! Tuck some pops of color into your greenery by sticking the stems inside the existing floral wire loops and then tape down the stems on the back of your hoop.
Now it’s time to display your wreath proudly! We hope you liked this fun craft and your home feels ready for spring!
