Angela Caban is an Army National Guard spouse, freelance writer, published author and branding expert. Her husband, was one of the many soldiers impacted by the unprecedented activation of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey National Guard in 2008. In 2010 she founded the Homefront United Network, in an effort to assist spouses who do not live near an installation, but also focusing on bridging the gap between National Guard, Reserve and Active Duty spouses. In 2016, she co-founded and launched SpouseTalks, an interactive Family Forum for National Guard and Reserve spouses, along with the Association of the United States Army.
In 2013 she was named the New Jersey National Guard Spouse of the Year by Military Spouse Magazine.
As a branding and digital influencer, she has worked with clients such as; USAA, A&E, Lifetime Network and PBS. She currently sits on the Advisory Board for The Milspo Project and was named a top Digital Influencer by USAA. Currently, she is one of the Community Managers for the USAA Member Community.
She has an extensive background in Human Resources and Communications, with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Human Resources.
