Currently, there are more than 1.5 million veterans who have vision issues. During their time in combat, veterans are at an increased risk for eye injury. Through America’s Vet Dog Initiative, a highly trained guide dog can help our vets lead active and independent lives. America’s VetDogs, a charity that provides guide dogs to veterans in need—at no cost to them.
VSP Vision Care wants to change this and has a mission to help people see. The “Vision to Share” program can help change the life of a veteran through America’s VetDogs. VSP will donate $50,000 to America’s VetDogs, but they need your help!
It takes $50,000 and two years to raise, train, and match one guide dog with a veteran.
Here’s how you can help:
- Share the video or any of the photos on the site and VSP will make a $5 donation until we reach the full $50,000. Your shares will help with the goal of giving to a veteran in need.
