Summer Recipes: Beer Dip

Ingredients:

2- 8oz packages of cream cheese, softened

1- 8 oz container of sour cream

1 package of Dry Ranch Dressing Mix

6-8 oz of Beer (lager or full bodied beer is best)

2 cups finely shredded cheese (Colby jack or cheddar is best)

Bacon bits and/or Green onions for garnish

 

Mix cream cheese, sour cream, dressing, and beer until you reach desired creamy consistency. Then mix in ½ cup of cheese, saving the remaining cheese to sprinkle on top.  Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight to let the flavors marinade.

Before serving, sprinkle cheese on top and garnish with bacon bits and/or green onions if desired. Serve with pretzels or scoops.
