I would love to have this machine! I am the Wardrobe Designer for the historical film "At the Foot of the Rainbow" (based on the novel by Gene Stratton Porgter), currently in production in Indiana. The story is set in the 1830s and thus each costume requires a TON of sewing (gowns had gigot sleeves and 10 yards of fabric, zippers weren't yet invented, etc). Our budget is *very* miniscule. One of my seamstresses is using her mom's antique machine – this would be such a blessing! I will be "liking" and following all evening! :) Thank you for the opportunity!

I have to add to Mary Norwood's post. She has given her own money, time, and love to sew special costumes for countless students over the last 13 years. It would be wonderful to reward her with this wonderful machine…and it would pay forward to many more children!

  22. Mary A says

Teaching my son and duaghter to sew their own clohtes. Would be so great to have a sewing machine that works…mine died and is too expensive to fix.

  23. Carter says

I have been wanting a sewing machine for such a long time. I’m on a fairly tight bugdet and would very much like to be able to make my own clothes and such. I would be immensly grateful to win this. Thankyou for this opportunity.

I’m a costuming/fashion student at a performing arts high school and winning this sewing machine would help further my education towards being a fashion designer. I have no job, and therefore little money and I really want/need this machine. I definitely want to make fashion my major in college and hopefully one day my career!

I also love to up-cycle clothing and wear it or sell it, so this would be much easier to do if I had a sewing machine! Thank you so much for looking at my comment and have a nice day!

I love to up-cycle and create clothing, wear them or sell them, (and having a sewing machine would make this alot easier!) Thank you for reading my comment and have a nice day!
