  1. Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me, if an active duty member is deployed if the spouse is allowed to register the active duty family member? – Thank you.

  2. I hope they dont have what happened last year happen this year. We got cut out because they kept changing the dates. The application froze a lot and so on. We really could have used this last year but the chaos made it not happen. Just heads up to be aware that they can change things and not really tell you or at the very last minute. Otherwise I think it is a great idea.

  3. What is this about? I heard of it last year but never applied. Is there someone that can tell me what this is. I’m really interested. (: (Yes, My husband is active duty Army.) Thanks!

    1. Samantha,

The Sears Heroes At Home program is a gift registry in which Active Duty military families can enter. They send out gift cards to help with holiday shopping. The amounts vary, from what I have seen between $50-150. Please click on the link if you wish to enter or find out more about the program! 🙂

      1. Oh I completely understand. My question is have they met the quota, because I keep getting the registration coming soon page!

  4. I was having issues trying to get the website to work properly. I have never had the chance to apply before but I know some of the families that always seem to get the gift cards every single year ( that seems a little unfair, since there are a lot of military families that could honestly use the help). Also my former friend that applied got sent a few gift cards and she sold them to other people because she didn’t want them.

  5. I have tried for a few years to just sign up. I am having troubles finding the link to sign up again this year. Can someone please tell me where to go to sign up. Gift cards would be great so that we could get the kids presents this year. We have relied of family members to help us through the holidays. thank you Sears for creating this for Military families. Just wish I knew how to register us. Please help. thank you.
