My husband and I saw this and it brought us both to tears! Then we were watching the credits and he recognized the name of a guy that he was stationed with while he was in the Navy and it really moved him!!! LOVE this movie!

We got bumped for the military screening on the last day (Joint Base MDL). I spread the word as far as I could and was so grateful for the 300 people that voted after I started nagging, lol. My husband and I are looking forward to seeing the movie.

My father is a Navy veteran, my father-in-law an Air Force Veteran, and my husband active duty Air Force. I have to say if I won this, it would be an extremely hard decision as to who it would go to for Father’s day. (might just keep it for myself since I love books!)

Would love to read book, don’t know if it has shown in our area but will check it out. I am a retired veteran wife. I appreciate all our precious military have done. As a Viet Nam vets wife I can relate. Bless our troops and bring them home.
